This landmark event, co-led by the Governments of Colombia and Sweden, and organized in collaboration with WHO, UNICEF, and the SRSG-VAC - aims to secure new political and financial commitments to prevent and end violence against children.

Our policy, advocacy, and campaigns for the conference

Together for Girls and the Brave Movement will mobilize advocacy efforts to influence the National Preparation Sessions 

ahead of the conference to secure national-level commitments to prevent and end childhood sexual violence, establish survivor consultation councils and implement critical data- and evidence-gathering initiatives, such as the Violence Against Children and Youth Surveys (VACS).

Safe Digital Futures for Children: Tackling online harms through joint global action

Safe Online, the Brave Movement and the WeProtect Global Alliance will join forces to host this satellite event ahead of the Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children. 

This event will illuminate the magnitude and complexity of online safety for children and galvanise political momentum to address this significant and growing threat within the sphere of violence against children globally. 

The  event will take place on Wednesday 06 November 2024 (11:00am-4:30pm) followed by a Networking Reception at 5-7pm at the Ágora Bogotá Centro de Convenciones in Bogotá (Colombia).
